Our Diabetes Exercise Group is a professionally supervised small group program designed for adults living with Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, or pre-diabetes.

These sessions are led by Accredited Exercise Physiologists and focus on helping you improve blood sugar control, build strength, and feel more confident with exercise — all in a safe, supportive environment.

Improve Your Blood Sugar, Strength & Confidence

Regular, structured exercise is one of the most effective ways to manage diabetes. Our program is designed to help you:

  • Improve blood glucose control and stability
  • Increase strength, fitness, and overall physical capacity
  • Reduce fatigue and improve daily energy levels
  • Support weight management and cardiovascular health
  • Lower the risk of diabetes-related complications
  • Build confidence exercising safely with diabetes

Small Group, Highly Supervised Exercise

Each session runs for 40 minutes and is limited to a maximum of 4 participants, allowing for:

  • Close supervision by an Exercise Physiologist
  • Individualised exercise progressions
  • A safe environment for managing blood sugar levels during exercise
  • Ongoing support, education, and guidance

Personalised Exercise Programs for Diabetes

Before starting group classes, all clients complete an initial 1:1 consultation with one of our allied health professionals.

During this session, we:

Your program is then completed within our group sessions, with ongoing monitoring and progression to ensure you continue to improve safely.
